
About The Pastor
Thomas Carlson
Pastor Thomas graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts. He earned his Master of Divinity from Sioux Falls Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry from Cornerstone Seminary. He has a great love for God’s people. He enjoys getting to know people while developing an authentic relationship.
In addition to serve as Pastor. He also is a Chaplain with The United State Chaplain Corps where he serves the greater Lyman County Area as a Community Specialist in the Law Enforcement division. He also provides support for to Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Law Enforcement and First Responders on the Lower Brule and Crow Creek Reservations. Pastoral care to those of all ages and preaching in a way that is relatable are extremely important to him.

Pastor Thomas is a Global Methodist Church Ordained Elder and has been in ministry for Eighteen years. When not serving in ministry you can find him with his family. He and Britni have been married since 2009. Together they have four children. Louis, Clayton, Rhyder, and Johnny. In addition, they have opened their home to foster children as therapeutic foster parents.

Pastor Thomas life verse is Galatians 2:19b-20, “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
